MOGADISHU (SD) -A roadside bomb explosion occurred today in the district of Heliwa in the Banadir region. The explosion targeted a military police vehicle.

According to reports, the explosion took place in the Shaaciye neighborhood of Heliwa district, with witnesses stating that a government military vehicle was passing by at the time of the explosion.

As confirmed, the explosion resulted in injuries to four individuals, three of whom were civilians present in the vicinity of the explosion site, while the other injured person was a military personnel in the targeted vehicle.

Security forces swiftly arrived at the scene of the explosion, conducting investigation operations, but no arrests have been made so far regarding those responsible for the attack.

Roadside bomb explosions targeting government forces are becoming increasingly frequent in various parts of Mogadishu and its outskirts, with these attacks often resulting in civilian casualties.
