Garowe (SD) – The Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Roble did not attend a farewell ceremony for him and his delegation at the Puntland presidential palace tonight, according to sources close to the PM.
The Federal Prime Minister went on a visit to the Puntland capital city of Garowe, asking civilians about their living conditions.
The sources linked the move with to the disagreement over the election talks, between state president Deni and the PM.
PM Roble wanted Puntland to appoint a state-level Electoral Commission, but President Deni insisted that the issue of Gedo region and the Northern parliamentary commissions be discussed first.
The prime minister is scheduled to travel to Galmudug tomorrow, without any notable results in Garowe.
