Mogadishu (SD) – The Prime Minister of Somalia, Mohamed Hussein Roble has appointed Mohamed Ibrahim Moalimu the Spokesman of the Federal Government of Somalia.
Mohamed Ibrahim Moalimu was a member of the country’s media community, most notably a former member of the BBC’s Somali Service.
Moalimu was also elected National Union of Somali Journalists NUSOJ secretary General in 2016.
“The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mohamed Hussein Roble, has appointed Mohamed Ibrahim Moalimu as the Spokesperson of the Federal Government of Somalia,” said a statement from the office of the Prime Minister of Somalia.
The Prime Minister of Somalia, Mohamed Hussein Roble, has also appointed Mohamed Ibrahim Nur as the new Permanent Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office.
Roble appears to be making lots of changes in the country’s second-highest office, with only a short time left in his term.
