MOGADISHU (SD) – The Chairman of the National Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA), Mr. Mahmoud Moalin Abdulle, held a meeting with representatives from the United Nations, led by the UN Deputy Special Representative for Somalia, George Conway.

The meeting focused on the drought situation, the 2025 humanitarian response plan, and strengthening cooperation between aid organizations and SoDMA.

The parties agreed to hold a general conference to address the needs of vulnerable communities and raise funds for affected individuals.

The SoDMA Chairman urged stakeholders to enhance efforts in assisting the poor and improving collaboration between humanitarian organizations.
