Mogadishu (SD) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of Somalia, Mohamed Abdirizak Mohamud, attended a joint online event organized by the US Peace Institute and the Somali embassy in that country.
In a statement posted on his Twitter account, the minister said he had briefed the participants on the reform of the national agenda and the country’s economic recovery.
“I gave a briefing on the political situation, the security situation and the reform of the national agenda and the economic recovery,” he wrote on Twitter.
The minister also said that a fruitful meeting was held with Ilhan Omar, a member of the US House of Representatives, to discuss US cooperation and support for Somalia.
