Mogadishu, September, 14, 2022 (SD) – The Federal Reconciliation Office, of The Interior Ministry called on two communities fighting in Laan-Qaylo district, 8 KM away from Xeraale in Galgadud region, Galmudug state.

The ministry has called on Galmudug state government to work with traditional elders, and local intellectuals to end the conflict and bring peace between the communities living in the district.

Finally, The Federal Reconciliation Office of the Interior Ministry of Somalia urged to the communities that have been in conflict to refrain from anything that jeopardise their brotherhood’s, and stop fighting.

The Ministry said it regrets to see the renewed conflict and appealed for peace and encouraged the warring clans to work together in pursuing a lasting peace.
