Somali National Television Editor takes the Fall for A Controversial Job Post

Mogadishu (SD) – A controversial Journalism job post finally led to the dismissal of the Somali National Television Editor.

A letter terminating the National Television Editor Faisal Muse Mohamed is issued today by the office of the Director General of the Somali Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism Abdirahman Yusuf Al-Adala.

Faysal Muse Mohamed is accused of having acted in a way that is inconsistent with the administration’s procedures, when he allegedly added inappropriate words and published a draft paper, originally compiled by him and the Director of National Television.

The termination letter states that the outgoing Editor will be subject to appropriate disciplinary action.

Faysal Muse Mohamed before he was terminated posted his resignation on his Facebook, claiming he turned in his resignation to the heads of the Somali Ministry of Information.

The Ministry of Information of the Federal Government of Somalia received criticism on a recreant job posting for two female journalists for Television.

The Job required the female applicants to have a certain physical attributes, specifically being Busty.

The Ministry of Information later retracted and condemned the wording of the post leading to scarabing the two job posts.
