Mogadishu (SD) – The Somali Police Force Command has released details of the case of a young woman who was killed yesterday in Waberi district of Benadir region.

The statement from the police command confirmed that there was a murder of a young girl who was one of the students who recently took and passed the high school diploma exam.

“Yesterday, September 11, 2020, at around 14:00 pm, the Waberi District Police Station received a report on the body of a woman who was killed in the district, especially in an apartment building in the May district, and the body of the late Hamdi Mohamed Farah, the daughter of Nadar Arale Ulusow, 19, was born in Elbur, Daynile District.

The Somali police command gave details of their investigation “The Somali Police Force, based on that report, went to the scene, we have begun investigating, and apprehending four suspects. An in-depth investigation is underway and we will soon share the full investigation with the public, ”said a statement from the Police Command.

The rape and the subsequent murder of this latest victim shocked the community more then usual, partly because, its believed that the diseased was thrown from the high rise the body was found at.
