Mogadishu (SD) – The Somali Federal Minister of Health Fawziya Abikar Nur, in her daily updates to nation confirmed new cases of COVID-19 infection in the country.

The minister has confirmed 51 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, 37 in Banadir region, 12 in Puntland and 2 in Galmudug.

The total number of infections cases in the country topped 722 cases, 1 patient died, and 10 patients have reportedly recovered.

The Minister urged the public to increase their Sanitation efforts and regular hand washing, reducing travel to crowded places and to wear a mask.
