MOGADISHU (SD) – The Government of Somalia and the African Union have issued a joint statement at the conclusion a recent meetings regarding the mandate, composition and the Concept of Operations of a proposed new AU mission.

The African Union Transition Mission and Somalia agreed to submit their draft proposal to Somali Federal Government and the African Union.
