November 06, 2022 (SD) – Al-Shabaab attacked forces of the Federal Government of Somalia last night in the outskirts of Burdhubo district in Gedo region in southern Somalia.

The surprise attack, reportedly by Al Shabaab resulted in the death of three soldiers.

Additional troops reached the area and could be seen conducting operations responding to and investigating the attackers.

Al-Shabaab has on several occasions attacked and killed soldiers of the Federal Government, Jubbaland Administration, and Kenyan forces in the Gedo Region, and also attacked Army Bases in the Region.
