MOGADISHO (SD)-The 4th session of the Joint Meeting of the Two Houses of the Federal Parliament of Somalia was chaired by the Speaker of the Parliament, Abdi Hashi Abdullahi, the meeting discussed and approved the presentations of the 2nd and 3rd readings of the 2024 Financial Management Law.

The Members of the two federal chambers voted with a significant majority to pass the 2024 Financial Management Law. A total of 186 Members of Parliament voted in favor, while 3 Members opposed the law, and there were no abstentions, as announced by Speaker Abdihashi.

The Minister of Finance of the Federal Government of Somalia, Bihi Iman Egeh, expressed gratitude to the Members of Parliament for their approval and positive contributions to the 2024 Financial Management Law.
