Mogadishu September 08,2022 (SD) – Somalia’s Cabinet Ministers praised the courageous measures of the Somali communities who fought against Al-Shabaab, who normalized killing Somali civilians, robbing their livestock and properties. 

The cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre, cited that the freed previously controlled Al-Shabaab areas are first on the government’s major resettlement program priorities . 

The Cabinet congratulated Somalia National Army’s forces who gave their full supports and assistance to the communities that fought against Al-Shabaab. 

The Cabinet’s statement comes days after Al-Shabaab’s recent attacks and also directly warned and threatened target any clan that sides with the government forces.
