The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia has strongly condemned the shipment of weapons and ammunition transported via land from Ethiopia to the Puntland State of Somalia.
The Somali government has called on Ethiopia to immediately halt these illegal actions, which pose a significant threat to peace and stability in the Horn of Africa.
The Somali government views this as a major violation of Somalia’s sovereignty and a serious threat to national security.
Verified reports indicate that two vehicles carrying weapons crossed the Ethiopian border into Puntland without any diplomatic discussions, directly violating Somalia’s sovereignty.
