MOGADISHU (SD) -Somalia’s international partners have welcomed yesterday’s presidential elections in Puntland. They have praised the commitment of the Federal Member State of Puntland to conducting the electoral process peacefully.

The International Partners of Somalia have commended the efforts of all political actors and election stakeholders for ensuring a peaceful and organized electoral process.

They have encouraged Any dispute related to the election should be resolved through appropriate legal procedures.

The international partners are encouraged by the participation of women and youth in the political and electoral processes, underscoring their significant role in shaping the future.

The International partners reaffirmed their support for Somalia’s democratic process, to achieve fair, transparent, and inclusive elections.
