MOGADISHU (SD) -The Ministry of Livestock, Forestry, and Range of the Federal Government of Somalia officially launched a project in Building Resilience for Food and Nutrition Security in the Horn of Africa.
This project was jointly launched by the Deputy Prime Minister of the country Salah Ahmed Jamac and the Minister of Livestock, Forestry, and Range of the Federal Government of Somalia Hassan Hussein Mohamed as well as the Ministers of Interior, Health, and Religious Affairs, and their counterparts from the regional government of the country and other dignitaries.
The project, funded by the African Development Bank, aims to boost the development of key sectors in the country, particularly livestock, including health services for livestock, vaccination, water supply, and overall improvement of livestock management.
The initiative is expected to significantly contribute to the enhancement of the livelihoods of Somali communities, with a focus on the diverse traditional livestock practices in the country.
