MOGADISHU (SD) -A burial site has been set up at the country’s military hospital in Mogadishu, for the late Khadija Mohammed Diriya, the Minister of Women and Human Rights of the Federal Government of Somalia, who recently passed away in Djibouti.

A funeral prayer was held inside Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu, and it was attended by top government officials, and members of the public.

Those who participated in the funeral prayer collectively prayed to Allah for mercy and forgiveness for Khadija and expressed their condolences and sympathy to her family, relatives, and the Somali people.

The late Khadija Mohammed Diriya served in various government roles for over 20 years and had recently been the Minister of Women and Human Rights in the Federal Government of Somalia.
