MOGADISHU (SD) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia Hamse Abdi Barre has today officially taken over the office of the Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia from Mohamed Hussein Roble at a ceremony in Mogadishu.
The transition ceremony was attended by the speaker of parliament on behalf of President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud who was diagnosed with Covid19 on Friday, as well as the Speaker of the Upper House, ministers and military officials.
It was on the 25th of this month that the Federal Parliament of Somalia approved the Prime Minister who was appointed by the President on May 15th.
