MOGADISHU (SD) -The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hamza Abdi Barre, stated that a new National Transformation Plan (NTP) exemplifies a new approach taken by Somalia, focusing on tangible achievements and genuine change.
Prime Minister Hamza emphasized that this transformation carries new hope and a long-term vision for the growth and development of the country and its people, concentrating on investment in productive resources to achieve economic growth, job creation, and development opportunities.
He highlighted that real change cannot be realized unless every individual starts the change within themselves, which is essential for reaching the ambitious goals set forth.
The Prime Minister noted that Somalia has many investment opportunities, which have arisen due to the implementation of foreign investment laws, debt relief for the country, and Somalia’s integration into the East African trade market.
The National Transformation Plan (NTP), launched by the Prime Minister, replaces the Ninth National Development Plan (NDP) and aims to lead towards sustainable development, a knowledgeable and skilled society, and a promising future for Somalia.
