ROME (SD) -The leader of the SSC-Khatumo Administration, Abdikadir Ahmed Aw Cali Firdhiye, has warned Somaliland against initiating another conflict in the SSC-Khatumo regions, stating that their forces are prepared to defend their territories.

Firdhiye, currently in Italy, addressed the SSC-Khaatumo diaspora in Rome and told them if Somaliland authorities attack their areas again, they will face fierce resistance similar to previous confrontations.

Somaliland recently announced its intention to retake the areas lost in the previous conflict in the Sool region.

Both Somaliland and SSC-Khatumo are mobilizing troops and resources in conflict zones, sparking concerns among the local populations in these regions.
