Mogadishu (SD) – The National Parties Forum has today issued a statement on the consultative meeting between the federal government and the country’s administrations, praising the outcome of the conference.

Forum greatly welcomed the conclusions from the conference, sitting the most important item being election to be held on time and to avoid extension.

The statement from the forum also said that it strongly agreed with the creation of a technical committee, which should act quickly on the technical issues assigned to it.

The statement also said that the Forum sincerely wants the federal government and the members states to implement all the agreed provisions of the summit.

The forum strongly warns against ignoring the facts and the dangers that could arise if current agreements are not implemented.

Finally, the Forum reaffirmed its commitment to holding the elections on time, avoiding a constitutional vacuum and extension.
