Hargeisa (SD) – The ministry of health in Somaliland has identified 32 new cases of Corona Virus, bringing the total number of cases to 257.

Director General of Somaliland Ministry of Health Mohamed Abdi Heregeye who spoke to the media confirmed one more death, bringing the total number of deaths to 18.

The director also noted that the number of people who had recovered from the illness is up 3, bringing the total number of those who had recovered to 28.

Dr. Mohamed Abdi Heregeye, director general of the Ministry of Health, added that the new positive cases are found in Hargeisa, Borama, Berbera and Burao, and patients are between the ages of 10 and 89.

Dr. Mohamud Abdi Heregeye urged the public to make every effort to implement the health ministry’s recommendations, as the disease is increasing day by day and new cases are being discovered.
