WAJALE (SD) – The police chiefs of Somaliland and the Somali Regional State of Ethiopia have held a security meeting in the border town of Wajale, on the Somaliland side.
The two Commanders of Somaliland Police Force and the Somali Regional State Police Force, Brigadier General Mohamed Aden Saqadhi and Brigadier General Mohamed Ali Hassan, met to discuss bilateral cooperation and security cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting of the two commanders took place at the border and were accompanied by the Ethiopian ambassador to Somaliland.
The two commanders discussed ways to strengthen security co-operation and security co-operation between the two governments.
The Somaliland Police Commissioner also inspected the Wajale farming project run by the police force, which contributes to the food security of the Somaliland Police Force.
