Hargeisa (SD) – Somaliland Ports Manager Eng. Said Hassan Abdillahi, attended a large-scale meeting to discuss a consultative meeting on the construction of the Berbera-Wajale (Berbera Corridor) in Hargeisa today.

The conference was attended by various ministers, experts and officials and discussed the latest agreement between Somaliland and Ethiopia in 2016.

The meeting also focused on Customs, Transportation and meeting international standards when entering into agreements.

The preliminary meeting was reportedly for Somaliland officials to discuss issues related to the Ethiopian delegation that is expected to sign the agreement soon.

The governments of Ethiopia, Somaliland and DP World have signed Berbera port agreement and to build Berbers-Wajale road construction.
