Borama (SD) – The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Muse Bihi Abdi attended this years graduation ceremony of Amoud University’s 19th batch, graduating from various faculties of the University.

The graduation ceremony was held at the Amoud University campus in Borama today, the President was accompanied by members of the Cabinet, the Vice Speaker of the House of Representatives, the President of the University, parliamentarians, Awdal regional leaders, traditional elders, politicians, all of whom congratulated the graduates, and thanked the teachers and parents for their hard work.

The dean of Amoud University Prof. Saleban Ahmed Guled Speaking at the ceremony praised the efforts made by the university’s graduates today, calling on the students to take back their knowledge and return to their homeland and people, and commended all those who have worked hard and helped these students achieve their goals.

The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Muse Bihi Abdi, who also addressed the graduates of Amoud University, first congratulated the graduates, their parents, faculty and leaders of the University and described them as a pillar and symbol of the academic community.

Finally, the President presented certificates to some of the top students of the university this year, with 136 graduating with a Master’s degree and 808 others with a Bachelor’s degree and a Diploma.
