Hargeisa (SD) – Somaliland’s negotiation Envoy with Somalia, Adna Adan Ismail spoke about the meeting between the federal government of Somalia and the Republic of Somaliland to be held today in Djibouti.
Ms. Adna said she welcomes the resumption of bilateral talks between the two countries that have been stalled for the past four years.
Adana Adan Ismail accused President Farmajo of having no credibility and that he would never implement any agreements reached.
“ You can enter into an agreement with an individual that has integrity and can implement what was agreed upon.” Said the Envoy.
She also accused the President of Somalia, Mr. Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed (Farmajo) of breaching previous agreements between Somalia and Somaliland, raising doubts about the ongoing talks.
Finally, the Envoy noted that a successful negotiations are important to the people and will help them overcome obstacles that now exists between the two sides.
