DUBAI (SD) – Somaliland President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi (Irro) is on his second day in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where he has begun holding key meetings.

He met with Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and the Ruler of Dubai.

He also met with Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Bin Sultan Al-Nahyan, the UAE’s Minister of Presidential Affairs.

According to a statement from the Somaliland Presidency, Irro discussed various significant issues with UAE leaders, including economic cooperation, investment, and regional stability.

He expressed gratitude for the official invitation and the high-level reception given to him as he attended the Global Government Summit.

Yesterday, Irro participated in the opening of the summit, where he delivered a speech promoting Somaliland’s quest for recognition and presenting investment opportunities in the region.
