Hargeisa (SD) – The Vice President of the Republic of Somaliland Abdirahman Abdillahi Ismail (Saylici) attended the launch a book on the history of the Republic of Somaliland presented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

“I congratulate the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for presenting this book, we are all honored, and we share with all the public that this book is the official national database of Somaliland. ”said Vice President Saylici.

This book is intended to be disseminated around the world to educate the international community about the history of Somaliland with members of the cabinet highlighting constructive suggestions for the distribution of this book.

The book, which has been prepared by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for some time, contains eight main pillars: governance, history, social life, economy, environment and investment.

It is worth noting that the book specifically corrects previously erroneous data, including population, land and sea mass and the Map of the Republic of Somaliland.

At the end of the book launch ceremony, the Vice President presented copies of the book to all the opening attendees.
