MANAMA (SD)-The 33rd Summit of the Arab League, concluded in Bahrain, once again expressed support for the Federal Government of Somalia.

In a statement issued at the end of the summit, the Arab countries pledged unwavering support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Somalia, and to prevent any actions that could undermine it.

The Arab League countries also expressed their support for the Somali government’s efforts in combating extremism, ensuring security, maintaining stability, and developing the country’s economic infrastructure.

Prime Minister of Somalia, Mr. Hamza Abdi Barre, who attended the summit, shared with the other leaders the significant progress and efforts made by the government in the fight against terrorism, securing the country, and advancing economic development and good governance.
