Mogadishu (SD) – The Somali National Audit Office has announced it is investigating a serious corruption scandal that has been reported in the Somali Ministry of Health, according to a document from the office.

This comes amid reports that donated medical supplies intended to combat the spread of COVID19 in the country were allegedly sold by government officials.
