MOGADISHU (SD) – Somali cities in the Horn of Africa and across the Islamic world, Muslims are celebrating Eid al-Fitr today after the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
Crowds flocked to mosques and other designated places this morning for Eid al-Fitr prayers, most of them dressed in traditional Islamic clothes.
Somali governments in The Horn and other regional administrations are celebrating Eid al-Fitr, with government officials and other administrations congratulating the people on the occasion.
Somalis living abroad, especially in the West, are celebrating Eid, with world leaders and other officials congratulating Muslim citizens on the occasion.
Somalis around the world could be seen on social media celebrating Eid al-Fitr with their friends and families.
