Mogadishu September 13,2022 (SD) – Somalia Federal Government, Finance Ministers who have been meeting in Mogadishu with The Regional Governments, in the past few days finally have reached an agreement on several points. 

The Federal Government of Somalia,  and The Finance Ministers of the Regional Governments, issued an 11-point communiqué agreement and the agreed points include not politicizing the country’s financial affairs. 

The two parties agreed not to politicize the financial issues and the law of debt relief in Somalia, and encourage transparency, good governance and the fight against corruption.

The ministers of finance of the regional governments agreed to equally share the International Aid intended to support the budget of Somalia, which was the source of the conflict between the two sides.

The ministers also agreed to allocate 50% of The World Bank budget subsidy offered distributions to be used for Good Governance, and Social Developments issues, such as health and education.
