HARGEISA (SD)-The Vice President of Somaliland, Abdirahman Abdillahi Ismail Saylici, has called on the public to vote for the Waddani party and other reformist organizations.

Saylici, who has been vice president for more than 14 years, held a joint press conference with candidate Cirro, supporting the call for change. He stated that the president has abandoned the promises he made seven years ago.

“President Muse cannot be trusted with the country’s leadership anymore; he has broken the oath he took for the nation. The best interest of Somaliland lies in the call for change,” said Saylici.

In a similar move to his recent statements, Saylici also showed support for the Barwaaqo organization from the Awdal region, opposing the Hilaac organization, which leans towards the Kulmiye party.

Candidate Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi Cirro welcomed Saylici’s support and called on the public to support the Waddani party and its allied organizations.

Candidate Cirro has been receiving continuous support from politicians, businessmen, and prominent figures in Somaliland, with high expectations for his victory in the election on November 13.
