Erigavo (SD) – News from Sanag indicates a fierce tribal fighting between two clan militias erupted tin a small town in the outskirts of regional capital his morning.

A heavy fighting is currently going on in Wakaderia region in Sanag, according to residents.

Reports indicate that a mosque and buildings housing civilians were burned in the fighting this morning, there are unconfirmed number of casualties.

Civilians are reportedly fleeing the city, and there is no sign of a break in the fighting.

Local sources indicate that the two local tribes are fighting over grazing land, this is not the first time the tribes fought over control of the land.

Sanag regional administration is yet intervene in the fighting, and there are no local efforts to mediate the waring tribes yet.
