Washington December 13, 2022 (SD) – The United States today announced that it will pledge $55 billion to Africa over the next three years, the announcement comes as the second US-Africa summit commenced in Washington yesterday.
White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said the United States aims to help African countries achieve their own goals.
The summit will discuss the cooperation between the United States and Africa in the areas of economy, security, aid, health, human rights, and climate change.
The United States is very concerned about the growing influence of China and Russia in Africa,
