MOGADISHU (SD) -The United Nations in Somalia has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that took place last night at Lido Beach in Mogadishu, which reportedly killed at least 32 people and injured many more.
The UN in Somalia expressed deep condolences to the families of the victims and wished a swift recovery to the injured.
The spokesperson for the Somali Police Force, Abdifatah Aden Hassan, provided details in a press conference today about the brutal attack at Lido Beach in Mogadishu.
He confirmed that 32 people were killed and 63 others were injured in the attack, targeting innocent civilians. He also mentioned that one police officer was killed and another injured during the operation. Additionally, three attackers were shot dead by the security forces inside the Beach View Hotel.
