GAROWE (SD) -The President of Puntland state of Somalia, Said Abdullahi Deni, today received a delegation led by the United Nations Special Representative for Somalia, Catriona Laing, at the Presidential Palace.

Following yesterday’s decision by the Council of Ministers, Puntland is actively engaging with the international community, with President Deni sharing Puntland’s official statement with the United Nations regarding the decision.

Discussions revolved around development projects and humanitarian efforts coordinated between the United Nations and Puntland authorities, emphasizing comprehensive collaboration.

Attending the meeting were Puntland Vice President Ilyas Osman Legator, some members of the Puntland Council of Ministers, and other officials.
