US to pay up to 5 Million for information on AS deputy leader

WASHINGTON (SD) -The United States government has announced a reward of five million dollars for information leading to the identification or whereabouts of the second-in-command of the Al-Shabaab group.

The individual in question, who has been designated as a key leader within Al-Shabaab, is named Abukar Ali Adan.

Abukar has held various significant positions within the Al-Shabaab organization, including being the military commander. He is currently identified as the deputy to the Amir (leader) of Al-Shabaab, Ahmed Omar Abu Obadiah.

The U.S. has previously offered similar financial rewards for information leading to the capture of other high-ranking members of Al-Shabaab.

It’s worth noting that such rewards are part of the U.S. government’s efforts to counter terrorism and dismantle extremist organizations operating globally.
