Hargeisa (SD) – Wadani party spokesman Barkhad Jama Batun said that during the four years that President Bihi has been in office voters regretted electing him, promising the people 5 years of prosperity if Wadani wins the 2022 elections.

“The last meeting of the Wadani Executive Committee was held, chaired by the Chairman of the party and the founder of the WADDANI Party, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi Irro. The party become a larger, by uniting both those who voted for it and those who did not.” Said MP Batun.

Batun called on the people of Somaliland to vote out the current government, saying the electorate regretted their decision the last time.

“We urge the honorable people of Somaliland to prepare for the presidential election, and to elect a leader who can lead the development of Somaliland. Today is the 4th year that many people have been biting the middle of their fingers, but this is the start of the next five years were many people will lick their fingers with honey,” Batun said.

Today marks the 4th anniversary of President Muse Bihi Abdi’s November 13, 2017 election victory, with some voters not satisfied with Bihi’s rule, while others saying they are ok with it.
