Hargeisa (SD) – Somaliland held a largely successful local and parliamentary election on May 31 2021. Unfortunately 3 out of the 28 female candidates were elected.

Sadia Musse was on one of the unsuccessful Somaliland female UCID candidates for the house of representatives in Sanag region, we reached her in Hargeisa to ask her what were the reasons for this failure in not electing female candidates.
