Washington (SD) – The White House national security council expressed its support for the recent diplomatic relations between Taiwan and Somaliland.

The governments of Somaliland and Taiwan recently signed a diplomatic agreements that angered both China and Somalia.

The White House’s national security council welcomed Taiwan’s new engagement in East Africa. in a statement posted on Twitter.

Taiwan and Somaliland Governments recently appointed and dispatched ambassadors to each others capitals.
