WHO to assist victims of yesterday’s explosions in Mogadishu

Mogadishu October 30, 2022 (SD) – The head of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said that they are sending urgent medical aid to Somalia.

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus sent his condolences to the government, and the Somali people, especially the families affected by the explosions that took place yesterday in Mogadishu, especially at the Zoobe intersection.

Also, the head of the WHO said that they are helping Somalia treating the injured civilians.

A series of explosions took place in Mogadishu yesterday, killing over a hundred people and injuring more than three hundred civilians.
